Today we will learn the
multiplication of algebraic expression. There are some basic rules of to keep
in mind while solving these questions. We will learn what to solve a question
of multiplication in math.
= (2x + 2) (3x - 5)
= 2x (3x – 5) + 2 (3x – 5)
Multiply the first bracket with 2x and then multiply the second bracket with 2.
= 6x2 - 10x + 6x – 10
Now add the relevant figures.
= 6x2 - 4x + 6x – 10
Example 2:
= (x + 3) (x2
-7x + 1)
= x (x2 -7x + 1) + 3 (x2 -7x + 1)
Multiply the first bracket with x and then multiply the second bracket with 3.
= x3 - 7x2 + x + 3x2 – 21x +3
Now add the relevant figures.
= x3 - 4x2 - 20 x + 3
