Exports and Imports Ratio
Proportional Exports & Imports
When two countries trade with each other, the most important issue under discussion is the difference between exports and imports. This difference between exports and imports is actually called trade rate. The following formula is used to determine the trade rate.
Termsof Trade = Exports Index Number / Imports Index Number * 100
If
this indicator is more than 100 then trade rate is better for this country and
if this indicator is less than 100 then trade rate is unfavorable for this
country. Every country wants and strives to keep this trade rate in its favor.
However, this may not be possible for every country, nor is it possible for any
one country to always have a trade rate in its favor. Unfortunately, this index
of Pakistan has always been against the country.
جب دو ممالک ایک دوسرے سے تجارتی لین دین کرتے ہیں تو سب سے اہم زیرِبحث موضوع برآمدات اور درآمدات کا فرق ہوتا ہے۔ برآمدات اور درآمدات
کے اسی فرق کو دراصل شرح تجارت
کہا جاتا ہے ۔ شرح تجارت کو معلوم کرنے
کےلئے مندرجہ ذیل فارمولا استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔

اگر یہ اشاری عدد سو سے زیادہ ہو تو شرح تجارت
اس ملک کے حق میں بہتر ہوتی ہے اور اگر یہ اشاری عدد سو سے کم ہو تو شرح تجارت اس ملک کے لئے ناموافق ہوتی ہے۔ ہر ملک کی خواہش اور کوشش ہوتی ہے
کہ یہ شرح تجارت اس کے حق میں رہے۔ تاہم ہر ملک کے لئے یہ ممکن نہیں ہو سکتا اور نہ ہی کسی ایک ملک کے لئے یہ ممکن ہے کہ شرح تجارت ہمیشہ ہمیشہ اسکے
حق میں رہے۔ بدقسمتی سے پاکستان کا یہ
اشاریہ ہمیشہ ملک کے خلاف ہی رہا۔
